CHILLI & TOMATOES PROCESSING DIVISION
Not all chili and tomato varieties have the unique properties of processing. The tomatoes sold in markets are actually quite different in structure from processing tomatoes so they can’t handle the rigor of transport while they are ripe and red. Also once tomatoes are ripe, they don’t last too long. To get fresh market tomatoes to stores, they need to be picked green so they are sturdy enough to make the trip. At Zortrax Food Industries we know this fact all to well. Our chili and tomatoes are grown by professional farmers with adequate training on the modern farming techniques, by doing so this gives us an upper hand in processing a premium product to the market.
